Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M Special Edition

Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M special edition has been unveiled by the Prancing Horse at World Finals in Mugello to celebrate its 16th title as an F1 Constructor.

Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M can go up to 315 km/h and needs only 3.7 seconds to reach 100 km/h. Powered by the 4.3 liter V8 engine, Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M may develops 510 hp at 8500 rpm and 470 Nm of torque at 5250 rpm.

Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M will only go to the most passionate Ferrari fans with only 499 units will be built.

Available in black with grey trim colors, Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M also has a tricolour livery as part of the Carrozzeria Scaglietti Personalisation Programme.

Unfortunately, the price of Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M has not been announced yet.

The Scuderia Spider 16M is available in a choice of two new signature color schemes: the standard version is black with grey trim, while a tricolour livery is also available as part of the Carrozzeria Scaglietti Personalisation Programme. The new car also sports a special plaque on its rear grille commemorating Ferrari’s 16th Constructor’s World title. The exclusivity of the interior is underscored by the silver “limited series” plaque just above the air vents at the centre of the dashboard. Other exclusive features include a roll-bar with carbon-fibre outer shell and a specific new generation audio system that can be combined with the removable customised Ferrari iPod Touch 16 GB with central dock just in front of the dashboard.

From a technical point of view, this car has a dry weight of 1340 Kg (80 kg lighter than the F430 Spider). This, combined with the 510 hp provided by its V8 engine and a power-to-weight ratio of 2.6 kg/hp, means that it delivers blistering 0-100 kph acceleration in just 3.7 seconds and a superb top speed of 315 kph.

KNIGHT XV Armoured Vehicle

KNIGHT XV is a fully armored SUV that has been unveiled at the SEMA show in Las Vegas by Conquest Vehicles Inc.

Conquest Vehicles Inc. is a company that specializes in the design and manufacturing of fully armored SUVs.

Inspired by the Gurkha military vehicle, KNIGHT XV is powered by a V10 6.8-litre engine that develops 400 hp and 498-ft lbs of torque.

KNIGHT XV get some equipment package such as a PlayStation 3, laptops, Night vision, LED interior lighting, 6-way electric leather boardroom-style seating, and also rear op camera system.

KNIGHT XV is a Bio-fuel powered SUV that requires 1,500 hours of building time. With only 100 units will be built, KNIGHT XV price will be at $295,000 USD.

M-Zero, Inspired by BMW M Series

M-Zero is a car concept inspired by BMW M series which also consider Mercedes Benz (as the backlight) and DB9 Aston Martin (the global silhouette of is definitely inspired by the DB9). Maël Oberkampf, the designer of M-Zero actually tried to make a model which could be considered as the equivalent of the R8 from Audi. And the result is M-Zero, a car concept that is the “synthesis” between the actual BMW design and a high an performance car which could become the most powerful model of the BMW legacy. The exterior looks great, very BMW style, but we are hoping to be able to see the interior design, we bet it’s futuristic.

A New Electric Car Concept

A new electric personal vehicle concept tries to convince the car makers to think about a cleaner type of car.
This compact and clean electric vehicle, designed by Sergio Luna, forgets about all the aspects of the modern car and uses a pod-like exo-skeleton to create something that looks more like a ball than a car. Inspired by the Segway vehicle this concept has only two wheels, and a panoramic roof that is also the front window. It can accommodate one person that, looking at the pictures, I can’t imagine how he will get in.

The car is powered by four electric motors, two in each wheel, but it also has batteries for keeping the energy.

Out of so many releases by Mercedes Benz, this has been the most unseen model of racing car. This car is named as Formula Zero, thereby featuring a new concept in the world of motor sports racing. Unlike a normal racing car, it is fitted with an elevation so as to provide an extra thrust to the wind consequently making it more difficult for the drivers to maintain the efficiency of the car. Hence, energy efficiency will be the integral part of sports with this Formula zero racing Car. Entire new concept of racing has been evolved, combining the thrill of formula one and the theory of track dynamics.

Luxury racing arrives in the Formula Zero Racer by incorporating the thrill of Formula One, the track dynamics of the bobsled or luge, and the grace and efficiency of yacht racing.

Reminiscent of the Mercedes Benz racing heritage of the 1930’s, the Formula Zero Racer is loaded with technology designed to extract the maximum thrust from the electric hub motors, aero-efficient solar skin and high-tech rigid sail.

Each team is allocated the same amount of stored energy and it is left to the teams and drivers to manage the variables to win the race. The winner is determined by total elapsed time combined with the energy efficiency factor.

120 years of motoring history

Mercedes-Benz's new museum in Stuttgart-Untertuerkheim in Germany contains, in the words of the company, "extraordinary automotive rarities".


Designed by Dutch architect Ben van Berkel the museum, which gently slopes down its seven floors in a curved fashion, is itself a remarkable piece of design and engineering.


Among the cars on display, the world's first motorcar, which was invented by Karl Benz during the 1880s and patented on 29 January 1886, hence its name 'Patent Motor Carriage'.


Together, Gottlieb Daimler and Karl Benz founded Daimler-Benz and created the Mercedes marque, which for decades led the way in the world of automotive development.


Every surface was cleaned and every car was polished to ensure opening of the new museum on 20 May.


About 160 vehicles can be seen at the museum's 1,500 exhibits. The new museum replaces one at a car factory in Stuttgart, which attracted up to 500,000 visitors a year.


One of only two eight-cylinder Mercedes 300 SLR Coupes produced. The car was built in 1955 and named after Daimler-Benz's chief engineer R. Uhlenhaut.


This car was gifted to Lady Diana in 1991, but the museum says it was later returned after criticism about her owning a German car.
